Hair Care Friday: Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Overnight Hair Rescue (review)

Sometimes I like a hair care product so much that it’s really hard to wait all week to tell you about it. But now it’s finally Friday! And…it’s finally time to tell you about this awesome overnight treatment from Alterna.

Caviar Anti-Aging Overnight Hair Rescue

Blurb: Repair While you Sleep. Overnight Rescue with Age-Control Complex® & Enzymetherapy® instantly penetrates deeply into hair, delivering vital nutrients for truly transformational results while you sleep. After just one use, awaken to silky, shiny hair that looks and feels remarkably, stronger, healthier, and visibly rejuvenated. Won't leave residue on your pillow. Free of parabens, gluten, phthalates, mineral oil, paraffin, DEA, TEA, petrolatum & PABA.

Fabulous treatment! I had a chance to give it a really good test this week too. I’ve been trying out a bunch of hairstyles and styling products because I wanted a really elaborate hairdo for Halloween. It turns out I don’t look that great with elaborate hair; but it took several tries and a whole slew of gels, sprays, sculpting products, and whatnot to find that out. It was pretty fun experimenting; but after I was done, my hair was in need of serious repair.

To being with, this treatment is an absolute pleasure to use. It’s easy to apply, smells wonderful, isn’t greasy (at all), and penetrated so well that there was no residue on my bandana (or pillow) in the morning!

And it worked! My teased, overwrought, over-producted hair was transformed into soft, shiny, manageable hair. It even eased out most of the tangles as I rinsed! My ends were especially healthy looking. I can’t believe it did so much in one night!

The website has tons of fabulous items and ideas to get and keep your hair looking amazing. I also suggest checking out the philanthropy page and of course the salon locator. Alterna products are also available at Beauty.com, skinstore.com, Dermstore.com and Ulta.

And to get the Halloween party started, here’s a pretty good “Horror” spoof trailer from that wealth of entertainment known as YouTube.

Happy Friday, and have a safe, spooky and happy Halloween!
