Happy Pretty Monday: Carol’s Daughter Bath & Body (review)

Monday already? After the long 4th weekend, two little days did not seem like very much! Oh well, this week actually has lots of fun things in it – mainly having to do with meeting friends for lunch/dinner and gossiping/goofing off. I might also accomplish something (I actually have some singing this week).

But since I'll be kind of busy, I'm extra glad that I had yesterday to just hang out and unwind. And while I was being lazy and unproductive, I got to try out some fab bath & body products from Carol's Daughter. Actually, I've been trying this stuff out all week. Mmmmm…stuff…

Mmmmm…Cleansing Gels…

I loved all three of these. "Brighten Up" has a perky grapefruit scent, and the bergamot gives it a little earthiness. My favorite, "You're So Fresh," has a zippy spearmint/melon fragrance, and the "Just Relax" is a really soothing blend of lavender/chamomile (the lavender is just right – not too sharp and not too sweet). All of the gels lathered well, cleaned well and felt great on my skin. The fragrance is light, so you can freely apply other scents afterwards.

Mmmmm…Almond Cookie…

To feel really indulged and pampered, I tried this in my bath water. The Almond Cookie fragrance was very delicate and my skin was so so soft! I also tried it as a foot rub (wow…soft smooth feet that smelled like almond cookies).

The main thing to remember is that these products all smell like Almond Cookies. Delicious. Almond. Cookies. For some awesome after-bath pampering, I tried the Shea Body Lotion (part of the Almond Cookie Collection Quick Shop) – a yummy summer-weight moisturizer. And for extra, super deluxe softening, there's an Almond...Cookie...BODY BUTTER!
