Nancy's note (below) got me to thinking about Vincent Longo products again. I am also a huge fan of the Water Canvas Foundation as well as the Water Canvas Blush and Lipstain Lipsticks. Vincent Longo's makeup and tools are known for innovation as well luxe, gorgeous high quality formulas.
Just for grins, I decided to try something different; so I've been checking out Vincent Longos Hydro Stick in Gold Solare.
Blurb: Hydro stick is a totally new approach for bronzing the skin. This new technology, which is mostly water, is an easy to use product that leaves the skin feeling cool, intensely refreshed and looking naturally tanned. Although it feels wet upon application once it dries down the color is very long lasting. Skin will feel cool, refreshed and hydrated, while looking radiant and glowing. Luminous, natural finish. High percentage of water for cooling effect and hydrating action. Long wearing gel base for all skin types. Pigments that deliver true color. Spherical powders for glide and comfort. Sheer, buildable coverage. Easy to apply.
This is super cool (and kinda hot)! I applied it to my cheeks with my fingers and got a beautiful sheer wash. I also tried applying it to my shoulders and décolletage with a sponge and it looked so great! The color is a sheer, delicate gold. Not glittery – just a lovely shimmer. It feels like cool water going on, then dries to a nice finish (lasts pretty well too). It has a very high percentage of water, so you definitely have to keep this sealed to prevent drying out.
But don't take my word for it! Win your own Hydro Stick in my July Golden Giveaway (okay, that’s a little dramatic, but since I’m a Leo and my birthday is this month, I’m going to be all grandiose and big headed).
How to enter: Send an email to me at ifeelpretty@comcast.net with a comment about any of my posts (including this one).
