Quick and Perky: Liz Earle Energising Body Scrub (review)

Since yesterday's post was a tad…extensive; I thought I'd keep things perky today. I seem to have a whole lot of energy this week – which I hope continues into the holiday weekend. But just in case you happen to be feeling a little weary, here's a fine bit of pep from Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare.

Energising Body Scrub

Blurb: This uplifting, invigorating and refreshingly scented Body Scrub exfoliates and cleanses, leaving your skin renewed, revitalised and super-smooth. "Energising Body Scrub is a fabulous addition to our skin nurturing body care. Regular use (especially with our Energising Hip and Thigh Gel) swiftly makes legs look smooth and silky - perfect timing for the season ahead." Containing ground olive stones, it gently buffs away dead skin cells to reveal softer, smoother skin, in an instant. A unique blend of 9 pure essential oils: sweet orange, grapefruit, geranium, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, pine, patchouli and petitgrain is combined with damask rose water to leave you feeling stimulated and energised.

This is a fabulous company - and a fabulous gentle scrub! It's a foaming scrub, which means it works up into a bit of fluffy frothy lather while it exfoliates. The ground olive stones give a gentle (not scratchy) sloughing. It feels amazing, and the fragrance is unbelievable. In my opinion, the fragrance alone is reason enough to use it. The peppermint, citrus, pine and rosemary combine into a fresh, stimulating scent (I also think this fragrance would be fine for either a man or woman). I absolutely love using this in the morning – and coming out of the shower with baby soft skin.

Check out the website if you want to see all the Energising Range products. You may also want to take a look at the Summer Offer page (right now you can receive a free Superskin Concentrate 0.3 fl.oz worth $34.00 when you buy your 3 daily essentials.).

Happy Tuesday!
