Retro Movie Tuesday: Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream (review)

Well it’s already after 10:00 and I’m finally sitting down to my blog. I don’t even have a time for a corny tie in tonight, so let’s just get to my review of a wonderful eye cream. From Korres.

Evening Primrose Eye Cream (SPF 6)

Blurb: Triple action eye cream that reduces fine lines and dark circles while shielding from the sun’s damaging rays. Evening Primrose oil rich in linolenic acid, an essential fatty acid, provides hydration and nourishes the delicate skin around the eyes. Ruscus extracts work synergistically to increase blood microcirculation, quickly and visibly diminishing dark circles while also moisturizing the skin. Zinc oxide, a natural sunscreen, prevents premature aging by providing sun protection.

There are a whole lot of good things going for this eye cream. It’s natural, it’s vegan(!), and it works beautifully. It’s smooth, rich and soothing, yet it also absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any oily residue.

I got a deluxe sample of this and found that a little bit goes a very long way. It gave me a chance to use it for a couple of weeks, and I really liked the results. My little lines were less noticeable; and the bit of under eye darkness I have is already much lighter. I’m thinking of getting a full size tube of this and seeing how it works over the long haul.

The website has tons of tempting skincare, bath and body items and…makeup. And for the entire month of March, get a deluxe sample of Cherry Oil Lipgloss in “Fuschia” when you spend $35 or more (you also get 3 free samples with every order & free shipping on orders over $50.) Korres is also found at Sephora, ULTA, and beauty.com.

And…since Korres is from Greece, here’s a fine retro trailer for “Boy On A Dolphin.” Of course, the most interesting thing about the movie is neither a boy or a dolphin. It’s Sophia Loren being thoroughly gorgeous and awesome. She dances, she smolders, and she climbs out of the ocean in a very clingy outfit. My kinda girl…

  1. Nice post! I love Korres products, especially their body creams. Their liquid lipsticks are to die for and I also love their eye shadows.

  2. Ooooh - I have not tried their liquid lipsticks yet! I may try the shadows too (if I can rationalize getting more eye shadow). Thanks for the heads up!
