I think today I am a sure fire winner for the Laziest Person Ever Award. I have the day off; and I’ve managed to do unbelievable amounts of…nothing. It’s pretty awesome. After all the running around, it feels really good to be completely unproductive.
Well maybe not completely unproductive…there is still beauty business to accomplish. I’m going to keep things nice and smooth with something from NeoStrata.
Blurb: 67% of users noticed an improvement in skin clarity after 4 weeks of using this lightweight daytime moisturizer with broad-specturm sunscreen. Oil-Free day moisturizer lightly hydrates oily skin. NeoGlucosamine™ is clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of dark spots. Improves skin texture, firmness and tone. Broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA/UVB).
My complexion tends to go a little bit crazy this time of year. The changing weather causes my skin to seesaw between dry and oily. I loved the way this moisturizer balanced everything out. It’s a lightweight, oil-free formula that hydrates without overdoing it. It sits very well under my foundation, and the sunscreen is a huge plus.
Also…I haven’t been using it long term yet; but I’m very excited to read that the NeoGlucosamine is proven to reduce the appearance of dark spots. (Yay!) What I’m noticing right now, though, is that my skin is staying hydrated and balanced.
Take a look at the website, and check out more recommendations for oily/breakout-prone skin.

Yes, I’m still on that word-a-day kick (don’t worry, it’s a short week). Renewal is on my mind. I’m spending the week getting caught up, digging out and attending to things that are overdue. So to my way of thinking; all of this is preparing the way for feeling renewed and starting fresh with a clean (mostly) slate.
Not bad, eh?
So for our blogging pleasure, here’s something to clean, unclog and exfoliate. From NeoStrata.
Blurb: Our most potent cleanser is formulated in an amphoteric system to capture the benefits of Glycolic and Lactobionic Acid while minimizing the potential for irritation. Formulated with 18% Glycolic Acid and 2% Lactobionic Acid to gently exfoliate, unclog congested pores, and stimulate cell renewal it prepares skin for optimal benefits of the regimen that follows. pH balanced. Not recommended for sensitive skin. Soap-free, fragrance-free. Non-sensitizing, non-irritating. Formulated with 18% Glycolic Acid and 2% Lactobionic Acid.
Love this cleanser! I love the foaming pump, and I love how well it cleans! After 3 days, I noticed a definite boost in exfoliation; and my pores look wonderful. Best of all, this cleanser wasn’t the least bit irritating. The description does warn that it’s not for sensitive skin, so take that into consideration; but my skin absolutely loved it. It was fresh, clean and completely smooth and balanced after I rinsed.
And…because I can’t stop surfing youtube, here’s a little something for your Thursday night…
Lyrics (because I can’t understand a damn word if I just listen):
Enough is enough, no one stops the Catarpillar The weight of the world already too much to bear You do it loud, mix it up with vanilla The sound is the best I have heard for a million years
From the thunder that came I was never the same and I would stop to think of what to do I was taking a leap I was playing for keeps with you
The many touches on my skin That’s lying between now and then The many kisses on my chin So severe I can’t believe this state I’m in I can’t believe what’s happening We’ll never be this young again Guinevere
A comic relief that makes room for my decision To tighten the rope so that you never will forget The music that comes from when playing with precision The words are too rough I can’t shake it from off my head
I was making a mess for the better I guess With a desire to be understood There were people around with the need to get down for good
The many touches on my skin That’s lying between now and then The many kisses on my chin So severe I can’t believe what’s happening I can’t believe the state I’m in We’ll never be this young again Guinevere

(This is me -- bringing my "A" game to kindergarten).......A while back, I re-connected to my inner-beauty junkie and decided to hop on the bandwagon by adding to the fifty gazillion beauty blogs on the web. These days I'm looking for ways to balance creativity, romance, friendships, fashion and sleep. And of course...keeping my eyes open for new ways to feel pretty. If you want to send a note, sample or feedback, contact me at ifeelpretty@comcast.net. I'll gladly respond to your notes and comments, and I'm always happy to check out any product samples and information (I'll only feature products I love, though).
#1 Reviews: Since I've gotten several emails asking me why I never seem to dislike anything; I thought I'd put a quick answer here on the site. I try out lots of samples that are sent to me as well as stuff I go out and purchase myself. I decided to only feature products I love - because if I don't love it; I'd rather just get rid of it and move on without having to write about it. I want to have as much fun with this blog as humanly possible and use my time to get all gushy over the really good stuff. So if I don't like something, you'll probably never hear about it.
