Cosmetics team and get bi-monthly makeup, style and lifestyle tips and tricks. Part makeup tutorial, part talk show, The FLIRT! It Girl Flirty How-To’s Video Series is all about having fun with your look and getting noticed.

And that isn’t all! FLIRT! will bring in experts from all aspects of pop culture for even more flirty fun and know-how. FLIRT!’s first “Flirty How-To” video will be live beginning October 6, 2010 on FLIRT!’s new YouTube Channel. Become a subscriber and make sure to not miss a beat.

FLIRT! Cosmetics mixed and mingled with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and teen icons at Teen Choice 2010 exclusive MorrocanOil Celebrity Gift Retreat produced by Backstage Creations. Stars from favorite television shows and movies such as Glee, The Twilight Saga, Wizards of Waverly Place, Modern Family, Step Up 3D and The Secret Life of the American Teenager all received an exclusive FLIRT! “red carped ready” kit which included everything they needed to get glam for the night including FLIRT! It Curl Mascara, FLIRT! Glamourazzi Lip Lacquers and FLIRT! Rock-n-Rebel Fragrance.

Key highlights from the suite included Naya Riveria (Santana from Glee) who loved FLIRT! It Curl Mascara’s pin-up inspired visual, Victoria Justice (Victorious and Teen Vogue September cover girl) who was excited to try the It Curl mascara, Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) who loved the look of Glamourazzi Lip Lacquers and was excited to try the shades and George Lopez, the “fourth Kardashian sister”, who liked Rock-n-Rebel for himself and “took the makeup for” his new Kougar Kardashian alter ego.

Another Mascara Monday: FLIRT! It Curl Mascara (flirt)

Hello all – I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was a mix of social stuff, swatting out some errands, and a whole afternoon of unbelievable laziness. I even got caught up on both "Lost" and "The Office" (by the way, if you haven't seen the St. Patricks' episode of "The Office," you are in for some hilarity).

Of course, a mere two days of weekend was not nearly enough. So to ease the transition into the work week, I'm adding one more Mascara Monday installment. This one from FLIRT! Cosmetics.

It Curl Lash Curling Mascara

Every time I try something from FLIRT!, I'm impressed with the value and quality. This mascara is priced somewhere between drugstore and high-end department store, and the quality is excellent. I got great length and fabulous, cheeky, flirty curl! I also loved brush: wide enough to get lots on your lashes, but short enough to maneuver easily.

Another plus is that in addition to usual black and brown, there's a gorgeous bronze shade. If you have a fairer complexion and want a warmer color, Bronze Belle is perfect.

New Stuff: Beauty at Kohl’s

In August, I reviewed some fab glosses and shadows from Flirt! Cosmetics – one of the beauty brands from Kohl's. In addition to Flirt!, I was pretty impressed with the other brands I saw in the Kohl’s beauty aisle. Those Lips…Those Eyes: Flirt! (review)

Besides the opening (mentioned below); Atlanta is also home to my best friend from high school (I've known her since I was twelve). Besides being my friend, Kim has been and still is one of the savviest bargain hunters ever. She's also extremely stylish and unbelievably picky (um, I mean discerning…sorry Kim). Her house looks amazing. She looks amazing. But she doesn't spend amazing amounts of money.

One of her absolute favorite go-to places is Kohl's. I'd never been, so when I visited her in Atlanta, she took me and I was amazed at the deals. Amazed. We looked at everything. Of course, I made sure to take a nice long look in the beauty aisle and was really impressed. Since then, I've gotten a chance to try out some shadows and glosses from one of the beauty brands, Flirt! Cosmetics.

Plushious Liquid Velvet Lipcolor

Blurb: A liquid lipcolor that applies like a gloss but covers like a lipstick for incredible color intensity with a shellac shine finish.

This gloss comes in 22 shades ranging from sheer to highly pigmented. I love the little bag-friendly tubes and the very high shine. "La-La Land" looked at first like it would be too bright for me. It’s a shimmery coral that looked almost fluorescent in the bottle. But when I tried it, it was actually a soft, fresh coral that looked bright without being harsh. "Nude Kiss" is exactly what it sounds like - a sweet, pale neutral that can be used by itself for a natural shine or layered over a deeper color. “Sexy” is a more pigmented shade. It’s a warm flattering plum that stands out a little without being overpowering.

Eyes Rock Dreamy Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes (limited edition)

Blurb: To swoon for: color that's soft, yet there. Go ahead, obsess.

More great packaging (very bag worthy). A tidy little rectangle when closed. But it slides open to reveal a convenient mirror, shadows and brush. Each palette has a really complete look with four excellent colors that work well together or separately. These were great quality shadows with excellent staying power.

"Poppin Peach" - Four neutrals: a pale champage, a pale peach, gorgeous bronze and matte brown.

"Boombox Bronze" – My favorite: sophisticated and subtle metallic shades. A pale gold, a darker gold, a deep bronze and a gorgeous dark copper. All of these colors looked great by themselves and worked together flawlessly.

"Rockin’ Purple" - Pretty and feminine without being overly cute. A super pale pink, a darker pink, a shimmery plum and a deeper plum. Enough color to pop, but something you could still pull off for daytime.
