Doubles Tuesday #2: Estée Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in “Plum Couture” and “Candy” (rave review)

For the second review of the second day of doubles week, I’m reviewing a doubly fine pair of lipsticks. From Estée Lauder.

These two shades couldn’t be more different from each other; and I can’t decide which one I love more. I flipped for these lipsticks when I tried one from their holiday collection (“Extravagant Berry”). They absolutely live up to their promise of gorgeous, buildable color that lasts like you wouldn’t believe.

“Plum Couture” is a deep, moody wine. The more you apply, the more dramatic it looks. It also looks incredibly sexy when smudged on with a finger as a lipstain. “Candy” is a sunny, sweet, delicious pink that’s sexy in a completely different way. It’s kind of “almost innocent.” Both shades deliver beautiful color, a moisturizing feel, and some of the best staying power you can possibly find. A++!
